I like the New Year because it's a time when everyone's out wondering about the next generation era and about people's lives in general.

Halloween. Mainly because I love autumn and more specifically the month of October...the shorter days and cooler nights are a welcome relief after the long hot summer. Also, I'm a big horror movie fan and there's a lot of horror films on TV around this time of year. Christmas and New Year are two other holidays that I enjoy. Christmas is about getting together with my family and New Year is about reflecting on my past and looking forward to the future.

Hey you remember some of what I posted on the hive about Christmas and New Year! That's impressive how much you like something like Halloween. I know the weather up north is nice, but here it's hot at the moment. To me it's a preceding of the joy we feel around Thanksgiving, eventually, and Christmas decorations go up after that. To me, this is a time of love, the fall and winter holidays, from Halloween to Valentine's. I am a big fan of horror movies that come out these days and things telling of paranormal activity. I used to hear voices in Ohio in college.

I agree with you about Halloween being a preceding of the joy we feel around Thanksgiving and Christmas season...I think the retailers agree, too.

Oh, and I still go trick-or-treating on Halloween and I'm 31! Here's my $8 costume: I wanted this one for over $150, a Renaissance princess. Maybe next year? I've already been an empress and a goddess. ...and actually there's a festival at church next weekend, so I am spending money there and earlier for other things. I've wanted to attend Halloween parties, too. Are you doing anything special for Halloween?

Are you doing anything special for Halloween? Nah, nothing planned. With my luck, I'll probably be arguing with Ben and Shooter over at filmboards.com.

Remember Halloween Candy on the Soapbox when IMDb boards were still up? I remember I messaged with AOL Help Easter Sunday morning when my family were at my aunt's, 2007. I remember being directed to the Soapbox from Sweeney Todd on Thanksgiving 2008. December 2009, I remember talking about race on The Princess and the Frog board.

I don't remember much about the old Soapbox because I only posted there occasionally. I was (and am) mainly a Politics and Music board poster. I miss some people from that board though: Yakko, Yum Yum and a few others.

He's a sports person, too. I guess Soapboxers are branded with a wind of ignorance in some sentiments. I blog, too. LandonA posted then, too, when iPodTouch was around. They kinda saved the board in a short time. LangdonA and his wife just had a baby recently. I'm sad people aren't more celebratory and recognize this. There was someone else who posted on The Expendables and was a mature man from Australia or New Zealand I'm pretty sure or somewhere. I don't remember him having an accent when he posted a video of him upset at maybe Soapboxers abusing his daughter. He had a new baby girl and left. He shared newborn pictures and progress after awhile. I looked to see if he posted more but did not see anymore pictures.
